K2 was recently named the group sales director for the Snowmass Tourism Office.  She has been a resident of Aspen for 14 years, arriving in town on Labor Day 1994, the very day James Brown performed in Snowmass at Jazz Aspen/Snowmass.  She obtained her marketing degree from Virginia Tech and began her work in 1993 with the Ritz-Carlton in their global sales office in Washington D.C., then quickly moving to Aspen a year later as a sales manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Aspen.  In 2000, she became director of sales and marketing for the Aspen Club & Spa before moving over to the St. Regis Aspen as director of group sales. During her time with the St. Regis, K2 was named 2007 Sales Leader of the Year for all Starwood hotels in North America and 2004 Sales Performer of the Year.

 

Karla Baker has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in group sales, conference services and special events. In 1978, after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation Administration, Karla moved to Colorado and began her career with the Snowmass Resort Association Recreation Department. From there she moved into health club management at the Snowmass Club and group services/sales at the Aspen Skiing Company. In 1990, she returned to the Snowmass Resort Association as Conference Services Manager for the Snowmass Conference Center, and in 1992 began her career in Group Sales. Specializing in the ski market, Karla also covers the Western Pacific states, Leisure Groups, and Fraternal Market.

Pam Cricenti brings with her 13 years of hospitality experience to Snowmass Tourism. Pam graduated from Hofstra University and worked in the Export business for 10 years before moving to Colorado in 1995 from Long Island, New York.  In Aspen, she started her hospitality career at the Ritz Carlton Aspen as an engineering administrative assistant and then continued her career at The St. Regis Aspen Resort, moving up the ranks to Senior Sales Manager after working as a Reservations Manager and Conference Planner.  Pam has a wealth of experience in resort tourism, is highly trained in delivery of an exemplary customer service experience and brings great existing relationships to this position that will help Snowmass broaden its customer base and bring in additional new group business.  Pam's impressive background includes exceeding her individual revenue goals for the past five years. She also earned the distinct prestigious honors of winning Gold, Elite, and Platinum incentive awards from the St. Regis parent company.

Jim O’Leary has over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry. A Chicago native, Jim graduated from Fenwick High School and the University of Illinois with degrees in Speech Communication and English. In 1989, he moved to his current home in Snowmass Village, Colorado. His hospitality experience began at the Stonebridge Inn, where Jim quickly moved up the ranks to become Front Desk and Reservations Manager. In 1990, he joined the Snowmass Village Resort Association (SVRA), managing the Telemarketing Department for the Conference Sales Department. In 1995, Jim became National Sales Manager. Currently, Jim covers the Midwest Region and state of Colorado, as well as the Incentive and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) markets.

 

Kiesha Techau has more than 14 years of experience providing exceptional customer service. A Cincinnati native, Kiesha graduated from St. Ursula Academy and attended Xavier University on a soccer scholarship. In 2000, Kiesha moved to Colorado and began working for the Silvertree Hotel. There, she quickly adapted to the hospitality industry, advancing through several roles including Sales & Marketing Executive Assistant, Ski Group Manager, Wedding Coordinator and Conference Services & Catering Manager. In 2007, Kiesha joined the Town of Snowmass Group Sales Department, specializing in group sales, conference services and special events.
