Anderson Ranch Arts Center The Anderson Ranch Arts Center, offers art classes for both children and adults. Workshops are taught by prominent artists, curators and educators and are hosted in fully equipped studios nestled in lush surroundings to inspire and guide you through the creative processes spanning all mediums. From pottery, painting, drawing, print-making and wood working to photography and digital arts, your family will enjoy the time spent together learning a new craft or perfecting their own.
Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Heading into a second decade of activity, the success of the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is cause for celebration. ASFB is a uniquely structured and multi-faceted organization, founded in 1990 by longtime Aspenite Bebe Schweppe. It not only is a nationally recognized dance company, a leader in the dance world in terms of repertoire, acquiring and commissioning work from top choreographers; but it is also one of the largest dance presenters in the country, welcoming the best in dance in both Aspen and Santa Fe. Education is a priority for the organization with schools in each of the cities. Cultural community activity is also included under the ASFB umbrella, with the popular award-winning Mexican folklore youth program, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklórico, offered in both locations.
Theater Aspen Theatre Aspen’s mission is to entertain, enlighten, enrich, educate and challenge the residents and visitors of the Roaring Fork Valley through professional quality theatrical productions, new play development initiatives and a broad spectrum of education programs.
Aspen Music Festival and School The Aspen Music Festival and School offers a wide variety of programs of performance and study. Most of these programs include a weekly private lesson with an artist-faculty member, extensive performance opportunities, coaching sessions, and master classes. The AMFS prides itself on providing a broad musical experience for students, faculty, guest artists and audience members: we allow and encourage all of our students to participate in every appropriate aspect of the Festival and School.
Aspen Film Aspen Film has been creating unique and memorable experiences for audiences of all ages. With a mission to entertain, enlighten, enrich, and educate through film, our programs foster appreciation for the art of movie making and its power to inspire and communicate a richness of ideas and cultures. Through our four annual events, an array of special presentations, and extensive educational outreach, Aspen Film aims to stimulate thought, encourage dialogue, and broaden understanding of our world and ourselves by sharing great films and filmmakers with audiences.
Aspen Art Museum The Aspen Art Museum’s Education and Public Programs accompany museum exhibitions and foster a greater understanding and appreciation of works on display. New programs include in-gallery activities, resource materials specifically geared towards younger visitors, outreach programs to area schools, and family events with visiting artists.
