Snowmagical Family Fun Fest

The Snowmagical Family Fun Fest is a free magical extravaganza for the whole family. Families enjoy the continuous magic and puppet shows, street entertainers, and puppet making & juggling workshops. Musicians, mimes, stage shows, interactive fun, and a Magical Dine-Around on Saturday night make this a must-see summer weekend for families. The best part is that virtually all activities are free. The man behind this event for the past 27 years is Doc Eason. When it was first proposed that Snowmass should have a Magic and Puppet Festival in 1981, Doc was 4 years into his burgeoning career as the magic bartender at the Tower. His tenure at the Tower Magic Bar paralleled this event until the Magic Bar closed in 2004. He started this before he had children of his own, and now his oldest son is 25 years old.

Oktoberfest

All guests and locals are "wilkommen" to attend this stein-klinking, lederhosen-laden, strudel-scarfing German harvest celebration. The festival combines authentic German beer, music & cuisine, with more modern live music, crisp fall air and fantastic mountain views. Biergartens, street performers, kids crafts, contests and more toast the season with Teutonic cheer. So bring your friends, favorite Trinklieder (drinking song) and your appetite and join in the celebration. Wunderbar!
